One Shabbos afternoon, at a farbrengen (Chassidic gathering) in the Kingsley Way Beth Hamedrash in Hampstead Garden Suburb London, a resolution was made to study the Rebbe’s Maamarim.

The idea was to start at the very beginning, from the first Maamar the Rebbe said upon accepting the mantle of leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch on the 10th Shvat, 5711 (17th January, 1951), and to continue on in chronological order.

This is how these Shiurim were born.

The Shiurim, held usually daily before Shachris (the morning prayer Service), are recorded live and are delivered by Rabbi Yonah Pruss.
